There are a number of group programs available to families and carers of people who are blind or have low vision. These programs are all free and only require access to a landline telephone.
Quality Living Groups for people caring for people with vision loss.This 8 week program provides opportunities for people to talk about challenges and concerns they share in their caring role. This program can be offered by telephone and as a face to face group in some locations.
Telelink Programs for families and carers.Telelink is a regular on going telephone based group program that is delivered via teleconference. It provides social and peer support, special interest and recreation activities.

Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centres
Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centres provide information and support services for older people, people with disabilities and those who provide care and services.
The centres provide free and confidential information on community aged care, disability and other support services available locally, interstate or anywhere in Australia.
