Create a brighter future

Nola, and her Will bequest

For Nola, a Will explains what you really want from your heart

“My family has always said I take after my grandmother. If she only had a penny left, she’d give you ‘ha’penny” meaning if I only had a dollar, I’d give you 50 cent if I thought you needed it. If the small amount I can give can make people happy and give them confidence back in life, then that gives me so much joy.”

Iris circle events

Our Iris Circle events are a special way for us to meet you and recognise your generosity during your lifetime.

Our Iris Circle Bequest Society is made up of passionate, like-minded individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of people who are blind or have low vision.

Each year, we host an Iris Circle thank you event with the opportunity to hear from our clients, staff and volunteers. It’s a great way to meet the people whose lives you are transforming every day. To find out about our Iris Circle events, get in touch with your local manager.

The Iris circle story

The iris is an important part of the eye, it regulates the amount of light that enters the eye. The Iris flower represents wisdom, faith, hope, passion and purity. As an Iris Circle member, you allow the light to enter the lives of people who are blind or have low vision.
