Three positions are currently available on Vision Australia’s Client Reference Group for volunteers with lived experience of blindness or low vision.
The Client Reference Group provides input and advice to the Vision Australia Board and Senior Leadership Team.
We are seeking people who are able to communicate the concerns and interests of our clients and the broader blindness and low vision community.
The new members will be joining an existing team of 10 people, already active in their roles.
Each Client Reference Group member has a community or topic area of interest that they provide advice or input on based on their lived experience, and the experience of people who are blind or have low vision in their networks.
Client Reference Group volunteers are currently being sought for:
- Technology topic area
- Culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
