Vision Australia is reaching out to NSW election candidates to ask for their commitment on six key election priorities: education, employment, getting around, access to information, service continuity and accessible voting through iVote.

As an integral part of our advocacy in the lead up to the 28 March election, the priorities were developed through a consultative process involving NSW staff and client representatives, led by General Manager, Michael Simpson.

The document will be sent to all candidates in the Government and Opposition parties. It can also be used by staff and clients who wish to engage with their local candidates in the lead up to the election.

During March, Vision Australia’s Enfield Local Client Group is planning to host the NSW Electoral Commission, who will present an information session on iVote. The session will be video-conferenced across our NSW locations.  Further details about this activity will be made available once a date has been confirmed.
