Event Description

  • This is a free online event open to the Vision Australia community, hosted Thursday October 29 at 3.30pm AEDT.

Reading is an integral part of our daily lives. Experiencing vision loss or a print disability doesn’t need to close that chapter forever. Whether you struggle to read a best-selling novel, the daily newspaper, your favourite magazine or the fine print on instruction manuals, the team at Vision Australia can help you find the right tools to enable you to continue reading for years to come.

Vision Australia is proud to offer our clients an opportunity to learn from our team of experts in Accessible Technology. There’s an ever-evolving range of adaptive tools and technology available, the team at Vision Australia are here to help you understand what’s new and what best suits your needs. Our specialist team will demonstrate a selection of devices, focusing on the attributes and accessibility of each option.

About the presenter

Sam has worked in the Access Technology sector for almost 20 years. In his current role at Vision Australia, Sam supports clients of all ages at home, school and in the community.
