The Library team are excited to invite all our avid readers to join our quarterly chat about the new release titles sparking conversations in bookshops across Australia.
For our upcoming book chat, we will be joined by our Senior Librarian, Marnie Rose-Smith. Marnie will discuss the new releases and popular titles, dominating the conversation within the ‘library world’. Marnie will talk about the authors, their previous works, and most importantly... ‘deliver a thumbs up or thumbs down’ on their most recent book.
And then it is your turn! We are inviting library members to share one or two books they’ve enjoyed reading since our last chat in June. While carefully avoiding ‘spoiler alerts’, you can share what you liked about your chosen book, what you didn’t enjoy, whether the characters resonated with you, and whether you would recommend this book to your fellow library members.
If everyone gives a thoughtful review of one book they’ve enjoyed reading, you’re sure to walk away with a fabulous reading list! If you would prefer to sit back and listen, that is perfectly fine...every book reviewer needs an audience!
