The Library team are excited to invite all our avid readers to join us for a chat about the new release titles sparking conversations in libraries and bookshops across Australia.
For our upcoming session of this quarterly book chat, we will be joined by our newest Vision Australia Librarian, Kate Davis. Kate will discuss the new releases and popular titles, dominating the conversation around the literary table! Kate will talk about the authors, their previous works, and most importantly…. ‘deliver a thumbs up or thumbs down’ on their new release novel.
Not to be outdone, your host Maureen O’Reilly will also provide a review of her favourite new release book. There are several new titles on her “must read” list after the recent Writers Festivals, it’s hard to choose just one!
And then it is your turn! We are inviting library members to share what they’ve been reading since our last chat in March. This is your opportunity to claim two minutes of fame and become a legendary Vision Australia Library Book Reviewer.
If everyone gives a review of one book they’ve enjoyed reading, you’re sure to walk away with a fabulous reading list! If you would prefer to sit back and listen, that is perfectly fine...every reviewer needs an audience!
