Event Description
As they say in the classics, “back due to popular demand” - the Vision Australia Library Poetry Workshop!
We are delighted to confirm Maria Takolander is once again partnering with the Vision Australia Library to deliver an insightful and enlightening three-part series on Poetry Writing. Maria facilitated a wonderful program for our library members in 2023, and we are thrilled to have her return this year!
We invite all our poetry lovers to join us on a three-week journey, which encompasses both traditional and contemporary poetry styles. Learn about structure, metre and rhyme, before exploring the freedom of free verse. The final session will provide the opportunity for people to read their poems aloud - a live poetry reading, inviting feedback from the group and your tutor.
