“To learn to read is to light a fire.” Don’t let vision loss extinguish your fire.

Reading is an integral part of our daily lives. Experiencing vision loss or a print disability doesn’t need to close that chapter forever. Whether you struggle to read a best-selling novel, your favourite recipe, instruction manuals or the dreaded bills in your letter box.....the team at Vision Australia can help you find the right tools to enable you to continue reading for years to come.

After the success of our recent Accessible Writing Tools and Technology Webinar, Vision Australia are proud to offer our clients an opportunity to explore the wide range of reading devices on offer. Our team of experts will showcase a range of adaptive tools and technology designed to assist you in continuing to read.

Damian McMorrow and Jim Pipczak will discuss a range of reading devices, including DAISY Players, Desktop Readers, Magnifiers with Speech, and Wearables. They will demonstrate a selection of devices, focusing on the attributes and accessibility of each option. There will be the opportunity to ask questions throughout the webinar, utilising the chat function in Zoom.

Join online from home or in person at your nearest Vision Australia location. If you are in person, there will be an opportunity to have a live demonstration of the tools and technology plus chat with Vision Store staff or an accessibility specialist.

If you are joining online, please note, this webinar is hosted in Melbourne, at 1pm AEDT. Clients based in WA, NT & QLD will need to log on an hour earlier than usual to accommodate AEDT.
