How funding works
There are a number of types of funding available.
NDIS
For people aged under 65. The National Disability Insurance Scheme lets you choose the support and services you want to live the life you choose.
NDIS  My Aged Care
For people aged over 65. My Aged Care is the gateway to access support and services so you can continue to live independently in your home.
My Aged Care  Department of Veterans' Affairs
Vision Australia is a Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) provider for people with vision loss who require low vision optometry services, allied health services, aids and equipment.

Yes, services provided by Vision Australia incur a cost. There are several ways you can fund the support, services and products you need including NDIS, My Aged Care and Home Care Packages. In some circumstances, a service will require a minimal client contribution.
