Is there a piece of technology you can’t live without? Need more funding to purchase the latest in braille gadgets? Do you use your smart speaker for more than checking the weather?
Now is your chance to inform how Vision Australia advocates for people who are blind or have low vision with the annual assistive technology survey.
The survey is completely anonymous and helps the Vision Australia Digital Access team advocate and provide guidance to government and businesses about designing their websites and apps.
National assistive technology advisor and Talking Tech host David Woodbridge said the survey will help give a clearer picture to the habits of blind and low vision technology users.
“In about four or five months' time, we should get some result to reflect on what sort of assistive tech people are actually using in Australia, rather than the rest of the world,” he said.
The survey is screen reader accessible and braille friendly and should take less than 15 minutes to complete.
