There is a by-election in the federal division of Groom on Saturday 28th November 2020

Voting is compulsory for Australian citizens aged 18 and older who are enrolled to vote in the Division of Groom. You can check if you are enrolled in Groom at www.aec.gov.au/check 

If you are blind or have low vision, you can vote by telephone. Register now by calling 1800 913 993.  

Assistance is also available at polling places or you may be eligible to vote by post. You can apply for a postal vote at www.aec.gov.au/pva before 6pm Wednesday 25 November 2020. 

The Australian Electoral Commission has produced an official guide that provides information on voting options, polling place assistance and how to vote correctly.

The guide, as well as a list of candidates running in the by-election, is available in a range of accessible formats, including braille and audio. You can download the guide from www.aec.gov.au/blv or you can have an accessible format sent to you by calling 13 23 26. 

COVID-19 health protection measures will also be in place at polling places.
