Even though tickets to Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight® 2012 presented by Myer are now sold out, do not despair!
You can still enjoy the magic of the iconic event at the official Rehearsal Night on December 23 or at the Federation Square Live Site on Christmas Eve.
Rehearsal Night is a great opportunity to see the performers while they complete their final sound checks and rehearsals before their big appearance on Christmas Eve.
This year’s star studded line up will include Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight Ambassadors Rachael Leahcar and Marina Prior, Sarah De Bono, Darren Percival, David Hobson, Silvie Paladino, Shane Jacobson, Lucy Durack, Rob Mills, Lisa McCune, Denis Walter, Teddy Tahu Rhodes, Tim Campbell, Christie Whelan, Anthony Callea, Hi-5, and many more.
“Rehearsal Night is a great opportunity to gather friends and family together, pack a picnic and make a night of it,” Vision Australia’s Acting CEO David Speyer said.
“By being a part of Rehearsal Night, you are also helping hundreds of children who are blind or have low vision overcome daily challenges.”
Rehearsal Night is on Sunday 23rd December at Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Tickets can be pre-purchased at Ticketmaster or on the night at the gate. The cost is $10 per person making it very affordable and fun night out for all the family. Gates open from 4pm.
All proceeds raised go towards enabling children who are blind or have low vision to access and participate in every part of life they choose.
Alternatively, come along and join the festivities at the Federation Square Live Site on Christmas Eve. Live entertainment kicks off from 6pm, followed by the live telecast of Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight on the large super-screen from 8pm.
