Vision Australia will throw open the doors of its Sydney centres this over the coming weeks to give people an idea of the specialist blind and low vision support services on offer.

The not-for-profit organisation will hold open days at its Parramatta, Ashfield, Caringbah and Epping facilities through February and March and is encouraging anybody to attend.

At each open day, people will be able to chat to our friendly experts about orientation & Mobility, occupational therapy, assistive technology training, employment services, orthoptist services, children’s services and our accessible Library.

People will also be able to get hands on with the latest assistive technology, such as the OrCam, IrisVision and Google Home. Vision Australia staff will also be able to provide advice to people about how they can access and navigate both the National Disability Insurance Scheme and My Aged Care.
