Five Vision Australia staff members were part of 30 early-career professionals across optometry, ophthalmology, and low vision and rehabilitation services who were recognised at a Vision 2020 Australia event at Parliament House this week.
The five Vision Australia staff members were part of Vision 2020 Australia’s Rising Stars, who came together to share their vision for the future of the sector, and to discuss the latest advances, technological achievements and developments in eye health and vision care with parliamentarians and policy decision makers.
Vision Australia’s representatives in the Rising Stars event came from across the organisation, with the following people recognised:
- Laura Allison, Service Engagement Consultant
- Kate Begley, Policy Advisor
- Scott Jacobs, NDIS Lead
- Courtney McKee, Client Insights and Engagement Consultant
- Belinda Wilson, Building Stronger Futures Program Lead.
