Staff in the Vision Australia Library have done their bit to support Australian Reading Hour – by recording a reading from an award-winning Australian novel.

Australian Reading Hour was devised by the Australian Library and Information Association and is its annual campaign to encourage Aussies to do more reading.

Australians are urged to celebrate the event by picking up a book any time tomorrow, the day of the event, and reading for an hour.

A team of Vision Australia staff chose to read a chapter of Jane Harper’s The Dry so that the blind and low vision community can also participate in the Australian Reading Hour.
