A significant component of Vision Australia’s proud traditions comes from the support of a small but committed number of fundraising groups throughout Victoria and New South Wales. These committees are co-ordinated by tireless, long-serving volunteers who generously give their time to raise funds to support Australians who are blind or have low vision.

Recently, the wonderful women of the Maitland Black and White Committee presented Vision Australia with a cheque for $65,000 to support people in the Hunter Region who are vision impaired.
The Maitland Black and White Committee host three functions a year including their annual lunch and the very popular Garden Ramble. The Garden Ramble will be held from 20-21 September and is an essential event for garden lovers. Thank you to all of our wonderful committee members.
