Talking Vision is Vision Australia's national radio program on blindness and low vision.

In the program for the week of July 8, we celebrate what has been dubbed as “The Miracle in Marrakesh”. At the Marrakesh Morocco diplomatic conference of the World Intellectual Property Organisation in June 2013, a treaty which will revolutionise access to books for the world’s blind and others with a print disability was signed. We have a report on the conference from the online Intellectual Property Watch. Two prominent blind Australians including the head of the treaty campaign will reflect on the accomplishment and we even celebrate with a taste of the music of Stevie Wonder.

You can hear:
  • Vision Australia Radio’s Melissa Dixon reading from Intellectual Property Watch;
  • Reflections from David Blyth AO, former president of the World Blind Union;
  • The perspective of Treaty Campaign Leader Maryanne Diamond, immediate past president of the World Blind Union.
You can listen here to the program or go to the Talking Vision web page for broadcast details, an outline of past programs and links to the associated audio.
