In the program of March 31, there is news of an initiative to have more orientation and mobility specialists around the country and we pay another of our occasional visits to Vision Australia’s equipment shop.
A senior orientation and mobility Specialist explains the nature of this discipline with the opportunities that can be opened for people who are blind or have low vision and then invites interest in Vision Australia’s upcoming Graduate Diploma of Orientation and Mobility course. In the shop, we find out about a range of Equipment Solutions products including clocks and watches and a new talking telephone handset.
