In the program of March 11, we visit the Shire of Yarra Ranges, to the east of Melbourne for the launch of two exhibitions. Living in a Sensory World uses objects and stories to tell of the lives of Australians who are blind or have low vision. Through the Looking Glass is the work of photographer Andrew Follows who has low vision.

Participants this week are:

  • Ron Hooton, CEO of Vision Australia;
  • Andrew Follows, photographer and exhibitor of Through the Looking Glass;
  • Jim Child, Mayor of the shire of Yarra Ranges;
  • Dr Kevin Murfitt, Chair of Vision Australia;
  • Lynette Nilaweera, Exhibitions Officer with the Regional Museum of the shire of Yarra Ranges.

Also this week, Frances Keyland from the Vision Australia Library previews another title in Reader Recommended.
