Talking Vision is Vision Australia's national radio program on blindness and low vision.

In the program of April 28, the emphasis is on one man’s frightening train travel experience. An active mobile person who is blind, tells a stunning story of stepping off a train where there was no platform. A drastic illustration of why it is important to always provide audible announcements on public transport vehicles. We then chat with the national Disability Discrimination Commissioner on this matter as well as on the outlook for people with a disability as Australia heads to the announcement of another federal budget.

Participants this week are:
  • Bart Bunting, from Burwood NSW;
  • Graeme Innes AM, Disability Discrimination Commissioner from the Human Rights Commission.
