Talking Vision is Vision Australia's national radio program on blindness and low vision.

The program for the week of November 4, has more conversations from Texpo 2013 and features two guests with interesting life stories to tell. From Texpo a young man with low vision explains an innovative screen magnification product that he has devised and developed. Also from Texpo, a representative of Quantum Reading Learning Vision explains many of the company’s blindness and low vision products. Then, a lady who is blind tells of life as a mum and member of her local community at Glenbrook at the foot of the Blue Mountains, in the vicinity of recent fires. A man who all his life has been blind, tells his story following reaching Australia as a refugee from Vietnam in the 1970s.

Participants this week are:
  • Sierra Asher, responsible for the Glassbrick screen magnification software;
  • Robert Drummond, Director and National Sales Manager with Quantum Learning Reading Vision;
  • Fiona Woods, from Glenbrook in the Blue Mountains;
  • David Truong, from Fairfield in Brisbane.
