Talking Vision is Vision Australia's national radio program on blindness and low vision.

They are contrasting topics in the program for the week of December 22. A lady who is blind explains the joy of ballet as we hear about the welcoming approach of the Elancé Adult Ballet School in Melbourne. Also, we find out about the experience of Australia’s blind cricketers at the recent 40 overs per side World Cup event in South Africa.

Participants this week are:

  • Genamarie Richards, telling her experience of ballet as a person who is blind;
  • Rosemary Robenn, a teacher with the Elancé  Adult Ballet School;
  • Peter Robinson, former player and now national Coach of the Australian Blind Cricket team.

You can listen here to the program or go to the Talking Vision web page for broadcast details, an outline of past programs and links to the associated audio.

Also this week, Frances Keyland from the Vision Australia Library previews another title in Reader Recommended.
