Talking Vision is Vision Australia's national radio program on blindness and low vision.

To mark Mother’s Day, the program of May 5 comprises three women chatting about their roles as mums in what is an inspiring and thought provoking conversation. We hear from a lady who is blind telling us about family life as her now adult children grew. Another with low vision explains how it is with her 8 year and 15 month old young ones. The third of the group who has 17 and 14 year olds tells of her vision loss which she has only experienced in recent years.

Participants this week are:
  • Kate Watkins from The Patch in Melbourne’s outer east;
  • Sarah Hartley from Runcorn in Brisbane’s south;
  • Paula Catania from Berwick in Melbourne’s outer south east.

You can listen here to the program or go to the Talking Vision web page for broadcast details, an outline of past programs and links to the associated audio.
