For the program of March 10, we turn to the international scene. In early March, it was announced that Former World Blind Union President Maryanne Diamond will be taking up new international duties as Chair of the International Disability Alliance. Fellow Australian Professor Ron McCallum who himself is a contributor on the world stage, comments on this and other matters in a conversation with Stephen Jolley prior to Stephen chatting with Maryanne herself.

Participants this week are:
  • Professor Ron McCallum AO, immediate past Chair of the United Nations Committee on the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities;
  • MS Maryanne Diamond, Immediate Past President of the World Blind Union, General Manager Advocacy and Engagement with Vision Australia and Chair elect of the International Disability Alliance,
Also this week, Frances Keyland from the Vision Australia Library previews another title in Reader Recommended.
