Talking Vision is Vision Australia's national radio program on blindness and low vision.

In this week’s program, we acknowledge people recognised through the recent Queen’s Birthday honours and also have news of international blind cricket. Maryanne Diamond has been made an officer of the Order of Australia through her work within Australia and on the international stage in support of people who are blind or have low vision. Gertrude (Trudy) Westh is honoured with a medal of the Order of Australia for her decades of support to Victorians who are blind or have low vision through her involvement with auxiliaries of the Royal Victorian Institute for the Blind. We also hear from vice captain of the Australian Blind Cricket Team about the recent tour to India and Sri Lanka and look ahead to the World Cup 40/40 event in South Africa in November.

Participants this week are:
  • Maryanne Diamond AO, General Manager Advocacy and Engagement with Vision Australia;
  • Trudy Westh OAM former President of the Council of Auxiliaries of Royal Victorian Institute for the Blind;
  • Ray Moxly from Blind Cricket Australia.
