Talking Vision is Vision Australia's national radio program on blindness and low vision.

In the program for the week of September 2, we revisit employment and highlight the productive contribution to the work force of people who are blind or have low vision. A call centre worker who is blind, tells her story and there is a most encouraging account from her employer. We also find out about the role Vision Australia’s Employment Services Team can play as a link between the job seeker and the potential employer.

Participants this week are:
  • Danielle Pollock, a call centre worker with Allianz Global Assistance, who is blind;
  • Karen Pattinson, National Contact Centre Manager with Allianz Global Assistance;
  • Deena Naidu, an Employment Engagement Consultant with Vision Australia.
You can listen here to the program or go to the Talking Vision web page for broadcast details, an outline of past programs and links to the associated audio.
