Talking Vision is Vision Australia's national radio program on blindness and low vision.

The program for the week of December 23, comprises a fascinating and wide-ranging conversation with two senior officers from the World Blind Union. There is more about the ‘Write to Read’ campaign and the further work to deliver the benefits of a recent WIPO Treaty to take books across boundaries for people with a print disability. There is also some reflection on some past achievements of the American National Federation of the Blind and discussion of a current initiative that will help blind pedestrians around the world.

Guests this week are:
  • Maryanne Diamond, Immediate Past President of the World Blind Union and General Manager of Vision Australia’s Advocacy and Engagement division;
  • Dr Fredric Schroeder, First Vice President of the World Blind Union and First Vice President of the National Federation of the Blind in the United States.
