Talking Vision is Vision Australia's national radio program on blindness and low vision.

In the program for the week of September 22, following the recent Apple announcements, we explore the benefits of these developments for people who are blind or have low vision. Also the Premier of Victoria is part of the program. Senior Vision Australia adaptive technology spokesman and Apple ambassador David Woodbridge talks with Stephen Jolley about the new Apple iPhones and the latest released operating environment, iOS 8. Then David introduces the KNFBReader, a remarkable iPhone app which in an instant can scan and read aloud printed text. From the recent opening of the new Vision Australia centre in Warrnambool in Victoria, we hear from the state Premier.

Program participants are:
  • David Woodbridge, Senior Adaptive Technology consultant with Vision Australia;
  • Dr Denis Napthine, Premier of Victoria.
