Talking Vision is Vision Australia's national radio program on blindness and low vision.

The program for the week of September 23, is the third of our series of programs covering Vision Australia’s Texpo 2013. You can hear about a handy bar code reading app intended to help people choose healthy foods. We find out about some innovative lighting products where the user can change the globe characteristics by remote control. There is information about telephones for the home which are especially designed for users who are blind or have low vision. We also have explanation of some of the many low vision aids that were on display.

Participants this week are:
  • Charbel Massoud from GS1 Australia;
  • Tony Wu from Humanware Australia;
  • Jan Withers from Beon Lighting;
  • Toni Rowe from Oricom International;
  • John Gaeth from Australian Independence Products.
