Talking Vision is Vision Australia's national radio program on blindness and low vision.

In the program for the week of June 3, news of two campaigns, each intended to result in people who are blind or have low vision participating in activities other Australians take for granted. Representatives of Blind Citizens Australia, the nation’s leading organisation of people who are blind or vision impaired will report on the cooperative efforts of a number of organisations on these matters. So this is the program where you can here of great progress towards secret independent voting for people with vision loss and of the continuing struggle towards adoption of audio description on Australian television.

Participants this week are:
  • Jessica Zammit, National Policy Officer with Blind Citizens Australia;
  • Lauren Henley, Campaign Leader for Media Access with Blind Citizens Australia.

Also this week, Frances Keyland from the Vision Australia Library, previews another title in Reader Recommended.
