In the program for the week of January 26, we hear from a guest who was a caller of horse racing for over 50 years. John Russell began his career in 1949, finishing up in 2003. In fact, as he explains to Stephen Jolley, he would have gone on for longer but for the onset of Aged Macular Degeneration. A highlight of the program, is a race broadcast from John of an event back in March 1957.

Also this week, Frances Keyland from the Vision Australia Library previews another title in Reader Recommended.
