Saturday 7 September 2013 is election day. 
 
This year, people who are blind or have low vision will be eligible to cast a secret vote over the telephone from any location. To do this, voters must be enrolled to vote and registered for telephone voting. 
 
Registration for telephone voting is now open. Call 1800 913 993 to register. 
 
Telephone voting starts on Tuesday 20 August and ends at 6pm on election day, Saturday 7 September 2013.
