Vision Australia is yet again gearing up for Christmas Eve's Carols by Candlelight presented by Myer with the launch of our Light a Campaign tomorrow.

Vision Australia's  Light a Candle campaign is aiming to raise the much-needed $2m it needs every year to ensure children who are blind or have low vision have the services they need.

Vision Australia’s Children’s Services receives some funding to deliver services, but the need in the community means it is delivering far more than we are funded to do.

The Light a Candle campaign will be launched on November 12 in Federation Square. Vision Australia will also reveal a 3.5-metre high candle art installation, which will light-up to symbolise the start of the fundraising initiative.

Channel Nine’s Tony Jones will MC the evening and Rebecca Judd will be conducting the weather cross live from Federation Square. Roving entertainment, Christmas giveaways and even some adorable seeing eye puppies on site to give out cuddles will round out this fantastic evening.
