Last Friday, Kevin Rudd visited our Coorparoo site to talk with staff over lunch and to have a tour of our facilities. He learned about the range of Vision Australia services and the key issues faced by people who are blind or have low vision in their daily lives.
While he was on site he recorded YouTube clips in our wood shop and shark nets areas.
As someone who was involved in the very early murmurings of our move from Woollongabba, Mr Rudd was very pleased to see the great state-of-the-art facility that is now our Coorparoo office.
