With a few days left until polling closes, the major parties have responded with commitments to act on Vision Australia’s priorities.
Vision Australia has written to candidates in every seat seeking their support for key priorities including service funding, action on NDIS and Aged Care, getting around on public transport, connecting with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, employment and support for school leavers as well as accessible voting.
Vision Australia’s advocacy activity during the Queensland election aims to improve key areas of concern for our clients and the blindness and low vision community who number around 70,000 in this state.
