Following a meeting with National Disability Services (NDS) yesterday, DisabilityCare Australia has confirmed that it will review launch site prices.
According to a statement released by NDS, “work by DisabilityCare actuaries to assess the adequacy of the prices will now be accelerated and include consideration of pricing information from the sector.”
Many disability service providers raised concerns regarding the maximum prices listed by DisabilityCare for some services.
NDS has said it will continue to negotiate on pricing matters and seek further information from members to help inform the review of prices to ensure DisabilityCare becomes an effective, diverse and sustainable system.
