St. John of God Hospital in Bendigo will be holding a special breakfast on Saturday, 4 June to raise funds to send 12 young people between the ages of 15 and 18 who are blind or have low vision, to Camp Joe in Canada.
The camp, which will be run throughout July and August, is a collaboration between Vision Australia, New Zealand Blind Foundation and the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
Those attending will be given the opportunity to participate in a variety of experiences all intended to enhance confidence, social capacity and other vital skills to help them gain employment.
