Not only will you be making history, you will also be supporting the nation’s largest provider of blindness services and support programs, Vision Australia.
The Nine Network will cross from the Sidney Myer Music Bowl to Federation Square during the live broadcast of Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight to see the human candle, which will be up to 20 metres long.
It is sure to de-light the millions of viewers across the country!
Glow sticks will be available for purchase at Federation Square with all proceeds going towards assisting children who are blind or have low vision.
Last year, thousands joined the fun and created the first human Christmas tree to the delight of viewers all over Australia.
Thanks to the Entertainment Store, live entertainment will commence from 6pm before the Nine Network’s live broadcast of Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight® presented by Myer kicks off at 8pm on the large screens.
