Each year, Public Libraries Victoria invites prominent, diverse Victorian authors to be campaign ambassadors for Warm Winter Read. These seven authors recommend books to read during the three-month reading campaign.
Warm Winter Read aims to inspire adult readers to make more time for reading over winter, by promoting the benefits of reading for wellbeing to our communities.
Research demonstrates the significant benefits of reading for pleasure, including reducing depression and dementia, and increasing empathy, self-esteem and awareness of other cultures.
Vision Australia Library invite all our library members to engage in this shared reading campaign. We encourage you to select one of the recommended books available in the Vision Australia Library.
