"It’s an honour to be recognised for this by our peers in the community media sector."

About the nominations

Talking Vision 600th episode, this on-air promotion was linked to a special program looking back on the past 11 years of Talking Vision to highlight why it continues to be an important part of blind and low vision community’s lives.

Let’s Talk About Vision Loss features eight people who share their very personal stories of blindness or low vision to help others facing similar experiences. Each story highlights their emotional experiences of vision loss and the support and services that led them to regain independence.

White Cane Day 2021, featuring interviews and music performances from Australian and international blind and low vision performers, this broadcast was a celebration to educate the world about the importance of mobility aids and to celebrate the successes achieved by blind and low vision people in the sighted world.
