Event Description

With great excitement and boundless enthusiasm, the Vision Australia Library, in partnership with the Australian Children’s Laureate Foundation, invites our young readers to join award-winning children’s author, and the current Australian Children’s Laureate, Sally Rippin for a spectacular morning of creativity, laughter and storytelling.

Sally will take our younger Vision Australia clients on an amazing literary journey, guiding a small group of children through a creative writing workshop. Our attendees will spend their morning imagining fantastical worlds and hysterical characters, who venture on awe inspiring adventures. Sally will help mould all these ideas into a unique story, which we will produce in large print, braille, and audio for our budding authors.

This event is free and open to Vision Australia Library Members aged 7-12 years old.  Children are invited to bring along a sibling or friend to participate with them. The entire event will be held at Vision Australia 454 Glenferrie Road, Kooyong, 3144.
