Following the official launch of DisabilityCare Australia in the Hunter, Andrew Constance, the Minister for Ageing and Disability Services, released the Living Life My Way Framework.
The framework aims to guide the expansion of opportunity for people with disability to exercise choice and control over their supports as NSW transitions towards a national disability insurance scheme (NDIS).
The NSW Government is aiming to ensure people with disability and service providers are well positioned to move seamlessly toward the NDIS.
The framework centres around feedback from the extensive Living Life My Way consultations held in NSW during 2011 and 2012.
