Accessible information about the 2019 federal election

There will be a federal election on Saturday 18 May 2019.

The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) has produced its official guide to the election in accessible formats, including braille, DAISY, MP3 audio, large print and e-text.

The official guide contains important information on accessible voting options, including telephone voting and assistance available at polling places.

The guide is available to download from the AEC’s website at: www.aec.gov.au/assistance. Or you can call the AEC on 13 23 26 to have a braille, audio MP3, DAISY, or large print version sent to you.

You can also order lists of candidates in accessible formats from the AEC by calling 13 23 26.

Other accessible resources, including easy read guides, AUSLAN and captioned videos, and other useful information is available at www.aec.gov.au/assistance.
