The first workshop will focus on understanding low vision and blindness in the workplace. We recommend this workshop be undertaken by anyone which can include HR and general managers, frontline staff and anyone who wants to begin at looking at how their employment policies, processes and workplaces can be more inclusive and accessible. We have put together an action packed workshop which will provide you will a solid foundation and the right skills to be a disability employer of choice whilst creating a safe and inclusive workplace. What we cover in this workshop: Diversity in the workplace Etiquette and communication tips Orientation and mobility training An "I'm not sure how to ask this, but..." Q+A and panel Assistive technology demonstrations and Job Access for equipment and workplace modifications
